Labuan Bajo, June 5, 2026 — Lingkotech has once again been entrusted to support the digital development of Festival Golo Koe Labuan Bajo Maria Assumpta Nusantara 2026. This year, Lingkotech’s contribution goes beyond digital publication support by introducing a multilingual website feature, including an English-language version, to better serve the festival’s growing international audience.
This initiative reflects Lingkotech’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the digital presence of strategic events in Flores while helping promote the region’s culture, tourism, and spiritual heritage to a global audience.
Festival Golo Koe Labuan Bajo Maria Assumpta Nusantara 2026 was officially launched on June 4, 2026, at Sudamala Beach in Labuan Bajo, coinciding with the commemoration of World Environment Day. Carrying the theme “A Communal Pilgrimage in Synergistic Fellowship to Care for the Integrity of Creation” and the tagline “Walking Together, Restoring the Earth,” the festival continues to serve as a collaborative platform connecting the Church, government institutions, local communities, businesses, and development partners in fostering ecological awareness and strengthening Labuan Bajo’s identity as a sustainable destination.
As one of the largest cultural and religious festivals in Eastern Indonesia and a recognized member of Indonesia’s prestigious Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN), Festival Golo Koe has increasingly attracted attention not only from domestic audiences but also from international visitors.
According to Engel Vione, Founder of Lingkotech, the decision to develop an English-language version of the festival website was driven by actual visitor data collected through Google Analytics.
“Based on website traffic data from previous years, we identified visitors from various countries, including the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Poland, Belgium, and China. These insights clearly indicate that Festival Golo Koe is beginning to attract international interest. Therefore, we believe it is essential to provide a more inclusive digital experience through multilingual accessibility,” said Engel.
He explained that in today’s digital landscape, a website serves as far more than an information platform—it acts as a gateway through which people discover destinations, cultures, and events.
“When someone outside Indonesia searches online for information about Festival Golo Koe, Labuan Bajo, or Manggarai culture, the website often becomes their first point of contact. The information presented must therefore be accessible and understandable to global audiences while preserving the local identity and cultural values that make this festival unique,” he added.
In addition to introducing English-language content, Lingkotech continues to support the festival’s digital communications strategy, ensuring that information about the Maria Assumpta Nusantara pilgrimage, cultural performances, ecological programs, religious celebrations, and festival activities can be accessed more effectively by broader audiences.
For Lingkotech, participation in Festival Golo Koe represents something much greater than a technology project.
“Festival Golo Koe is a celebration of collaboration, culture, faith, and the spirit of the people of Flores. We are proud to have been part of this journey and to contribute to its digital growth. Through technology, we hope to help ensure that the stories, values, and aspirations embodied by this festival can reach audiences across Indonesia and around the world,” said Engel.
He further emphasized that digital transformation has become a critical factor in enhancing the competitiveness of regional events on both national and international stages.
“Great events deserve stories that can be discovered by the world. Technology makes that possible. Our commitment is to continue helping strategic events across Flores build professional digital platforms that are accessible, impactful, and globally connected without losing their local cultural roots.”
Looking ahead, Lingkotech remains committed to supporting technological innovation, digital communications, and online engagement for cultural, tourism, social, and religious initiatives throughout Flores.
Through long-term collaboration and innovation, Lingkotech hopes that Festival Golo Koe will continue to grow—not only as one of Indonesia’s premier festivals but also as an internationally recognized cultural and religious event.
“We believe Flores has many extraordinary stories that deserve global recognition. Our mission is to build the digital bridges that connect those stories with the world.”
